SAFE AND PRECISE TREE FELLING COURSE

Many of us have been dropping trees right where we want to for years. Some of us have never tried. This course is for all experience levels. What is a felling site? A Dutchman? A barber chair? Even some of us with lots of success can learn a lot about how and why our methods work. Those who have never done it should gain the confidence to fell a tree precisely where you want to (and need to). This course is classroom and outdoor hands on.

The course covers

• Hazard awareness
  
• Choosing a drop zone
• Overcoming lean
• Creating and employing Humboldt, standard and open-face notches.
• Avoiding common pitfalls
