INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY of ARBORICULTURE (ISA) ARBORIST CERTIFICATION PREPARATION COURSE
I became one of the first ISA Certified Arborists in Iowa in 1998. I became the second Board Certified Master Arborist (BCMA) in Iowa in 2006.
I have been teaching and improving my course preparing individuals to pass the ISA Certified Arborist exam for over 20 years. Close to 100 arborists in Iowa and Illinois are now certified after taking my course.
For $500 you attend virtual classes until you pass the exam. Start anytime, stay as long as you want, attend where you want.
PROVEN this course not only prepares you to pass the exam, but it also discusses real world applications of the concepts and techniques presented.
THOROUGH - Each week one chapter of the ISA Arborist Certification Study Guide is thoroughly discussed as a PowerPoint presentation is delivered. An exhaustive final review is conducted.
TARGETED - As a long-time test proctor, I will discuss the ins and outs of the test and many tips to help the candidate navigate it. I will focus on topics most likely to be on the test and not on those less likely to be on it.

Classes are held in-person year ‘round in Davenport, Iowa. These live classes are also attended virtually all over the country.

Students will need their own (or to share one) Arborists' Certification Study Guide from ISA. There is a new digital version that costs less than the soft-cover guide. They are both available through ISA here.
Students will need to apply for the exam through ISA here.
