Most fruit trees require pruning to reliably produce quality fruit.  We often must prune in ways that are good for fruit but bad for the tree.
The course covers:
  • How trees grow
  • Structure - what keeps em’ up, what brings em’ down?
  • ANSI A300 (Part 1) Pruning
  • Pruning objectives
  • Pruning tools
  • Pruning methods
  • How trees let us know what didn’t work, what did… and for how long
